PORTLAND, OREGON—More than 100 “boats at the beach” will be on display during the Super Summer Boat Sale Friday through Sunday, September 9-11 at the Jantzen Beach Super Center.

Portland area dealers will display fishing boats, ski boats, family runabouts and cruisers in the expansive parking area just north of Boater’s World.

“This is a great opportunity to take advantage of rock-bottom prices on year-end 2005 aluminum and fiberglass boats,” said Greg Johnson, sale director. The sale will also offer families an enjoyable day of fun with free hot dogs and refreshments, “Bobby the Boat”, free prizes, boating kids clinics and boat safety information from the Power Squadron and Sea Scouts.

“The best part is that the public can still get a great deal on a brand new boat, and take advantage of the remaining fall boating and fishing season,” Johnson said.

With interest rates still low, Johnson said boaters can buy now before rates escalate. “This is truly a sale. Portland’s biggest and best dealers will be offering better-than-boat-show prices on some of best brands in boating. Product lines on display will include Bayliner, Alumaweld, Weldcraft, Seaswirl, Sea Ray, Reinell, Glastron and Mastercraft,” Johnson said.
